The island of Hönö, which is part of the Öckerö Municipality with a total of 10 islands in the Gothenburg archipelago, has been characterized by the Klåva area with a fishing harbour, a number of restaurants, cafes, food, gym and a large selection of shops. From Hönö Klåva the boats also depart for Vinga lighthouse. The harbor is buzzing with life both daytime and evening.
The island has a number of different types of accommodation for the guest. The two municipal bathing areas are Lappesand and Hästen, where Hästens bathing area is closest. Directly connected to Hönö Klåva there is also the lighthouse which has very nice cliffs and a swimming ladder for those who want.
